This page explains how to request deletion of your LaneQuest account and the data associated with it. LaneQuest is the app and website listed on Google Play and the App Store as LaneQuest.

How to delete your LaneQuest account

1. Open LaneQuest in the mobile app or at www.lanequest.com and sign in with Google or Apple.

2. Go to Profile.

3. Choose Delete account.

4. Confirm the deletion. Your account is then removed from the live LaneQuest service.

If you cannot sign in

Email support@lanequest.com from the same email address on your LaneQuest account. Include “Delete my LaneQuest account” in the subject. We will delete or anonymize your account within 30 days of verifying the request.

Before you delete

If you own a LaneQuest club that still has other members, transfer ownership or delete that club first. Empty clubs you solely own are deleted with your account.

If you have a paid LaneQuest plan, deleting your account cancels that subscription immediately. You will not keep remaining paid time.

What is deleted

When your LaneQuest account is deleted we remove: your name, email, profile photo, date of birth, and location; Google and Apple sign-in links; your garage (vehicles, photos, documents, service and insurance records); your showcases; likes and comments you made; club memberships; sessions and mobile sign-in tokens; and billing identifiers stored on your LaneQuest account. Your personal Stripe subscription is canceled immediately.

What is kept

We may keep payment records that Stripe is legally required to retain.

Clubs you created that still have other members continue for those members. Your personal account is detached from those clubs.

Content that other people reshared before you deleted your account may continue to appear.

We may keep data when the law requires it (for example a valid legal hold).

How long deletion takes

Deletion from Profile takes effect in the live LaneQuest service as soon as you confirm. Email requests are completed within 30 days. Residual backups are purged within 30 days unless a legal obligation requires us to keep specific records.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You can delete individual vehicles, photos, documents, and showcases from LaneQuest without deleting your account. Those items are removed from the live service when you delete them. Residual backups of that content may take up to 90 days to clear.
